What is the ISVA service?

The ISVA service provides independent support for those who have experienced or been affected by sexual violence, assault and/or abuse.

We are not a counselling service but can provide emotional and practical support in the aftermath of sexual violence.

This includes, but is not limited to, advice on:

  • Reporting to the police
  • Police procedures
  • Court
  • Counselling
  • signposting and referrals to other services
  • accompanying to appointments
  • contraception
  • Sexual health
  • School
  • Pre-Trial Visits
