Part of Blackpool’s HORIZON Service, HORIZON LGBTQ+ is a community-led LGBTQ+ service delivered by Renaissance UK. The project works alongside LGBTQ+ people, local organisations, businesses and public services to improve sexual health, wellbeing, inclusion and access to the right support across Blackpool.

Safe, welcoming peer-support groups and community activities where LGBTQ+ people can connect, share experiences and help shape what happens locally.

Support for the Blackpool LGBTQ+ Forum, helping community priorities influence local decisions, strategies and services.
HORIZON LGBTQ+ works with local businesses, services and organisations through the Blackpool “Be You” LGBTQ+ Quality Mark. We provide practical advice, awareness training and ongoing support to help participating organisations strengthen LGBTQ+ inclusion and turn good intentions into meaningful improvements.
HORIZON LGBTQ+ is for people and communities across Blackpool, identifying at Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Nonbinary, Intersex, Queer or any other gender or sexuality outside the societal norms of Heterosexual and Cisgender. This includes, anyone looking for connection, reliable information, peer support or help finding an appropriate service. We also work with community groups, professionals, public services, voluntary organisations and businesses that want to listen, collaborate and improve inclusion.
